Jimenez Family Farm is a small scale family farm located in the Santa Ynez Valley. Utilizing “beyond organic” and sustainable farming practices, we provide fresh, healthy, and delicious food to the local communities. Our family is passionate about providing food that is produced with integrity, food that our customers can feel good about serving to their families. We are dedicated to preserving the small family farm and providing a wide array of locally produced foods.

The October Pie of the Month is Pumpkin Pecan. This fall favorite pie is created with a luscious layer of our homemade pumpkin filling topped off with a sweet, buttery traditional pecan topping made with freshly chopped pecans.

Other pies in season this month include Old Fashioned or French Apple, Blackberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, Rhubarb, and of course, Pumpkin! Our savory quiches made from our own farm fresh eggs, veggies and meats are available at all our Sunday markets and by special order at many of our weekly markets. As fall arrives and the weather cools you can expect to find a bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables at our farmers’ market stand. This is peak of the harvest season. See our current produce list on the tab “Produce” to get see what we will be offering this month.

Plan your meals around some of our locally and humanely raised cuts of meat. With cooler weather ahead, plan to warm your kitchen with a hearty soup, stew or roast for festive dinners for family and friends.
